Walleye Lodge has two major trump cards when it comes to snowmobiling: the first would be the seven major trails in three miles - no need to ride the same trail every day to get to the good snow and trails; the second is this is where the good snow is found. Lake Superior provides the moisture, while the Porky Pine Mountains provide the lift to the moist air and down comes the pretty white snow on our roof. Three rental sled options are within two miles which also helps: Timberline Sports is a half mile west, Bergland Snowmobile is half a mile east, & Gogebic Sports Center is two miles west. If that’s not enough to win you over, how about 19 units that can comfortably sleep up to 120 guests? These units are large, clean and the most reasonable found on the lake. Wireless internet and NFL Sunday Ticket- all your games and teams.
