i would say the last 2 winters in the keweenw have been about average maybe a little above average for snow and a little below average for temps but either they start out slow or ended slow we havent a had hard winter all winter since about 96

Who cares in the Twin Cities. Sucks to ride down here anyways. As long as central and northern MN have snow all is good. That is why they make trailers.

I have put on 2000 to 2500 miles on my sleds every year and most of it is in MN. So do not say there has been bad snow in MN.

snowlover, he was referring to the Twin Cities - not MN in general.

Yeah? Trails are terrible around the Twin Cities. Too many wanna be racers, tear it all up first time through. The only reason I want snow in the cities is so I can plow it.

"Trails are terrible around the Twin Cities."

As I understand, this is not relevant to the original post.

I don't know sp123, last season 08/09 was pretty intense. But maybe thats just me. I am not a seasoned veteran of the UP. All I know driving up in a blizzard on snow covered roads hauling a trailer and getting passed by an Audi doing 60 MPH is pretty intense.
