I know asking for a specific location where its a hot spot, or your favorite spot that you dont want anyone knowing off. But looking over some picture I see, seems like everyone goes there.

The spot im talking about is in the western UP I believe, and is that giant hill everyone rides up on and has the huge overlook.

Also is the one that has people sketching theri lines up through the trees in the pictures.

Since lots of people go there I was wondering if anyone wants to spill the beans and let me know. It would be great.

The hill is called Whealkate Bluff, and is located just outside South Range. If you are on the trail coming from the Twin Lakes area, once you get through South Range you will come to a trail intersection, to the right you continue on to Houghton, if you go straight, that is the north Freda loop. At this intersection you are right under some power lines. Drop down the bank on your left, and follow the tracks to the BFH.

That is a fun area to play in but gets tracked up pretty quickly. If you decide to go up the hill don't hesitate if you're not studded or have a paddle track. It is icy at the top and you need momentum to make it... track speed won't be much help. I've been up it many times and the one time I'll always remember is the time I didn't make it. LOL.
