I could have posted the exact same picture with my belt.(journal pic) I am wondering if the dealer thought that you needed to do anything to your clutches? I have been riding an 09 800 Crossfire with an obviously shorter track but have been blowing belts on the trails in the U.P.

BTW it takes some time to clean up all the pieces and get the cords out of the clutches. I have found that it is pretty easy to pull the cap on the secondary and put it on backwards to open the clutch.

Sounds to me like you need to check, belt deflection, and clutch alignment!
