i no spring temps vary alot but it seems like even more so this year have one day 70 the next day in the low 40's. seems like its been like that the best month and it also seems like the last 4-5 weekends saturday has been crummy out. just wondering if this is normal

also do your see what this summers will bring average temps above average. low precip etc. or do you not put effort into this.

I don't have the time to analyze 30+ years of data, but it does seem like this springs cold spells have been more dramatic than in previous years. The warm spells do not seem to have been all that unusual though.
The past few Saturday's have been rather crummy, with the cold and snow, but it is not unusual for the weather to repeat itself on the order of around every 7 days or so.
As far as this summer, it is not a matter of effort, but rather the fact that there is no reliable way to forecast the weather out that far, so I do not do it.
