Nope.
Just lots of natural snowfall, plus some wind and a spot at the edge of a field for the snow to deposit in and get really deep.
The most impressive thing to me is that it sits in the sun all day, but still is one of the last areas (if not THE last) with natural snow in it.

that snow blows across that whole field all summer field is pry 1/4 mile and wind blows all the way across it and it all gets deposited there. long and that snow pry gets 12-15ft deep in some places. if not more
