By cmharcou on Monday, September 28, 2009 - 07:53 am: Edit Post John, we live in Indiana and the weather around here this summer has been unusual. We've had a lot of rain and the weather has been very mild and flat out cold. In August we had our sweatshirts on. Our leaves are turning and falling very early. We usually seem 2 be about 2 weeks behind you guys but I think were at least a week ahead. After seeing your pictures, our leaves are seem to be quite ahead for an early peak. Is this normal? By admin on Monday, September 28, 2009 - 08:23 am: Edit Post By your description, it sounds like the weather you have seen this summer has been unusual. As for the trees, it would also be unusual for your's to be turning sooner than ours, but ours are about on schedule. Stress can also cause trees to change earlier than average, so perhaps there is some stress going on.
