seems like we had a good winter in southern wisconsin last time we had a slow hurricane season with a busy typhoon season.whats your take

I do believe it happened, but in general that connection does not usually prove to be the kicker, typically active Atlantic Basin seasons can lead to good winters in the Midwest.
