Could you please tell me if the trail from Chassel to Painesdale was ever re-opened. My husband and I are coming up there late this winter and want to map out our ride. If not, do you have another suggesstion vs. having to take the trail all the way down to Sidnaw and then up? I thank you for your response in advance, have a Merry Christmas.

The trail is closed and I have not heard of that one will be opening. However, there are ways to get from Chassell to Painesdale. I do not know of them, but am sure locales down that way do.
