Ok, after seeing that last pic of old blue loaded with 2x4s i have to ask how much that truck has been through. i also liked the pic you had of it loaded with wood for your heat. have you ever thought of putting helper springs on it or getting a 3/4 ton. also what year and how many miles are on it. i love my '89 shes never let me down and i know many people with old chevys that have 150K+ some even 200K+. thanks

No immediate plans to get a different truck. I use Old Blue to drive the mile or two into town to check the mail and maybe do a bank run. About once or twice a week we make the trip to Calumet and then there is the odd hauling job it has to do like the 2x4's this weekend.
Don't know how much the helper springs would be, but I really do not want to put any more money into it than I have to! I get the oil changed and other fluids checked in the fall and spring and that seems to do it for the most part.
The truck has 152,000 miles on it and is a 95.
