Hi john i am in the thumb in Michigan the 27 they are calling for rain snow mix and then snow here in Brown city. This early of snowfall is this a good sign or bad. Also I have been heard hundreds of time from people around here about a rumored above average snowfall this winter any evidence to support this? Thanks a lot john.

I would have to say that a single early snow is not really a positive or negative indicator for the winter as a whole.
