By skidoodood on Wednesday, January 07, 2009 - 03:58 pm: Edit Post John, I know you are a busy man. I remember a thread about some changes/updates to the website in the future. I was wondering if any of these would make it more Blackberry accessible. It would be awesome to be able to get your reports while we were out on trips or even post pics. I understand if you don't get back right away. I just accessed the site on my BB about 2 hours ago. I even got the ALCam to come up. I do not know what it takes to make it BB friendly but I do know you can get on and access some areas. If there is a particular area you want me to try, let me know. By skidoodood on Wednesday, January 07, 2009 - 04:26 pm: Edit Post Unless it may be some setting on my phone I'm missing, but I'm trying it right now, I can get the main page up but can't select anything from the list that is on the left like the Journal, forecasts, etc. By admin on Wednesday, January 07, 2009 - 04:32 pm: Edit Post Perhaps BB's cannot handle frames. By skidoodood on Wednesday, January 07, 2009 - 04:39 pm: Edit Post Actually I was playing with that right after the last post and I couldn't select any of those either even though they looked like links that I could select. Not that big of an issue, just an idea. I know you have other pressing stuff to handle. I'll check and see if there may be something on my end. Thanks By 1000 on Wednesday, January 07, 2009 - 05:10 pm: Edit Post Scroll all the way to the bottom and choose there. By doospunk on Wednesday, January 07, 2009 - 10:37 pm: Edit Post All links work fine on mine. By skidoodood on Wednesday, January 07, 2009 - 10:46 pm: Edit Post Looks like I have some issues on my end......Me, issues..... By crash0 on Thursday, January 08, 2009 - 10:28 am: Edit Post go into your browser and press the menu key then select options then browser config then check all the boxes and change the emulation mode to ms explorer. This may help. By 1000 on Thursday, January 08, 2009 - 10:42 am: Edit Post Let everyone know if this takes care of it. John may then add it to special instructions sometime. By skidoodood on Thursday, January 08, 2009 - 10:54 am: Edit Post I'll try a few things and get back to you all. I have used the site on my BB for a few years now and don't have any issues at all. By skidoodood on Friday, January 09, 2009 - 09:40 am: Edit Post I'm gonna work on this on my end. Not sure if it has to do with my service provider (Verizon), but I've tried every different setting that you guys recommended including turning every browser option on and still doesn't work. By propjockey on Monday, January 12, 2009 - 12:11 pm: Edit Post I entered this post on my 8310 curve using opera mini INSTEAD of using the BB browser. Opera is your easiest method of browsing. Try it! |
