It is a possibility, but to put things in perspective. In the record year of 78-79, by January 31st the Houghton County Airport had received 262.2" of snow. Plus they had a very big March. So we would need to have a very big February and a very big March and probably some help from April and May to set a new record.
Looks like we might push above the 200" mark before the day is over today the way it keeps snowing.
