By vmaxal on Friday, February 22, 2008 - 04:46 pm: Edit Post Drove up Sunday in rain from Midland to Trout Lake then it turned to snow and pretty much didn't stop until Wens.. Most snow I have seen on the East end of the UP in some time. A little chilly on Wens. morning, it was zero when we hit the trails and it was only an issue because they were so flat and fast. Powder play was great even on shorties, only wish the group had wanted to break more logging roads open and that my 136 hadn't blown a chain. By vmaxal on Monday, February 25, 2008 - 08:19 am: Edit Post The Firecat does pretty good, the rider doesn't have a lot of experience in the deep stuff so blasting straight through was more common than carving.
