I have a 1993 indy and am trying to get the secondary clutch apart with no luck. I have taken the cir clip out and rotated the sheaves in opposite directions then let em go but the helix will not free up. Any ideas? I have tried PB Blaster and heat but no luck yet.

PB Blaster works really well just let it soak maybe all day if you have too.

I actually used muratic (not correct spelling i know) acid because it was really stuck on my 94, i only had to do it once and it was ready to go every time after that.
