Does anyone know if an Edge suspension can be put into a '99 Polaris. I thought I saw a thread about somebody that did it to older sleds for little money.

There is a guy on who advertises on Craigslist out Minneapolis that converts xtra ten and twelve sleds to except the edge rear. Here is link to one of his adds http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/csw/rvs/1477836841.html

Yes,
Toddspolaris put a edge in his 99 polaris. I can't remember all the details but I do believe that just two bolts had to be moved backwards and bolted everything back up.

It is a piece of cake to do. Just need to relocate rear bolt holes. A template for relocating the rear bracket holes would be nice to have. I just bolt up the front first, remove brackets from rear of sled, bolt to edge skid, turn sled on side and slide suspension up into tunnel so bracket meets the tunnel at same level it was before, yet back a bit. Mark bracket location then attach brackets in new location. Do this on both sides. The track can be on or off skid. It is way easier if it is off. I can do this for you if you wish for the same money. You need to supply edge suspension.
