headed to Eagle River & U.P. for labor day weekend. took kids to the mine to search for some goodies. had a pile of rock to sort thru. 3 cubic feet of it. all piled up and was told needed to be about 3 inches high. was lots of work. did find some copper. about 15 pounds worth. couple pcs. are pretty cool. a little bit of quartz. then a stop by bond falls on way to E.R. with a bon-fire to finish off the nite. then on sunday went to Crandon,wi. for 40th anniversary borgwarner world championship off road racing.

sorry for slow response Rusty. here is link. owners ays several in area. and may start to actively start minig some. otherwise it is a tourist place. at least this one. had to travel way back into the boonies to get to it.
