By cmharcou on Thursday, January 22, 2009 - 03:20 pm: Edit Post We stayed at the Ramada. Great service, great hotel, and great location. 480 miles in 4 days. We took time to see the scenery. Dreamland trail was alot of fun. Trails were 100% perfect and flat. Never hit a bump. Can't wait until next year. By yooper on Thursday, January 22, 2009 - 04:10 pm: Edit Post Awesome pics Chris, where was the last one taken at? Is it in Copper Harbor? 13 1/2 more days the wait is killing me :-) I like the one showing the temp outside at -22 burrrrrr By cmharcou on Thursday, January 22, 2009 - 05:34 pm: Edit Post The last picture is just before you cross the lake on the dreamland trail. The dreamland trail is only 1 sled wide and a little rough but it was fun, compared to the super highway trails we were on all week. It was nice to get off the main drag for awhile. I would recommend it! By cmharcou on Thursday, January 22, 2009 - 05:35 pm: Edit Post And it actually got to -24 a few miles down the road after that. Thats the coldest that it got. I was getting worried about my diesel gelling up but all went well. By barney on Friday, January 23, 2009 - 10:50 am: Edit Post where is the dreamland trail?? By yooper on Friday, January 23, 2009 - 01:33 pm: Edit Post My bad I didn't mean the last one, where is the one taken at where your looking at the water? By cmharcou on Friday, January 23, 2009 - 03:09 pm: Edit Post Just outside Gay Michigan. Its right behind the "gay bar". I know there was a thread about the gay bar but whatever you do don't visit the gay bar. Its the most unfriendliest place on earth. Drive through gay check out the scenery. Just don't stop there. By catcrazy on Friday, January 23, 2009 - 06:23 pm: Edit Post The sign says it all in that last picture By samc on Friday, January 23, 2009 - 08:15 pm: Edit Post Sweet Pics. Sorry to hear about what happened to you at the Gar Bar. Usually it's a pretty sled friendly place. |
