Depends on the route you take. Relatively the same as it is by road, depending on route taken.

FYI, road mileage from Ironwood to Copper Harbor via M-28 to Bruce Crossing, US-45 to M-26 east of Rockland, M-26 to Hancock, US-41 to Copper Harbor is approximately 156 miles.
