This series is from a trip to the Keweenaw in January 1996 (the last big snow year up here)

Riding in 15" of fresh snow on the trail from Ontonagon to Geenland.

Same general location as the previous photo, pushing snow with the bumpers.

That trip featured digouts almost every 30 minutes.  Sometimes even on the DNR trails.  56" fell in 5 days.

Taken at one one of the few moments it was not snowing during our stay that trip.  The depth of snow on the level was about 5-6 feet at this creek near Calumet..

.

Riding a buried creek bed somewhere south of the Porkies.

This is actually a shot from 1997.  Taken near a place called Valhalla between Washburn and Bayfield WI.
