Some shots from the winter of 1976-1977

Mary and Duffer on the Sawmill Rd. - Lake Linden. The road was finally opened after several days, but only by the County Snowblower,
because the plow could not get through.

Jim and Duffer on top the barn roof. The snowdrift was packed so hard, they walked right up and onto the roof!
The trail to the barn, shoveled by hand. If you look closely, on the right hand side of the picture, you can just see the roof of our chicken
coup and that's it, the rest is buried!
The trail from the barn to the house. This was our first winter on the farm....we bought a plow for the old blue Ford the next winter!!
