I am going through the rear skid in my Warrior and replacing/repacking bearings and I am just wondering how many people repack their bearings or just replace them. I popped the seals out of the new ones and made sure they were full before putting them in.

I have always repacked the old bearings providing they are good and the seal still seals. Good way to save a buck.

Repacked every single bearing on my skid this year as well.

Had a 03 RX1 with 15000 miles, 90% original bearings, I have repacked bearings for 20 yrs, sleds, mowers, motorcycles, farm eq, electric motors. Time well spent.
Look at the seals, and check if bearing runs smooth and seems tight.
