has anyone added shims to the rear of the Ski-Doo Precision Skis? What did you use to shim them? You would think that a ski with two runners would not dart! I think it darts worse than a standard ski. Thanks

I think the Precision skis are terrible.
I bought a set of Flex skis last year on Ebay and then sold the Precision skis for $50 more than I paid for the Flex.
The Flex skis handle much better for me.

No darting problems with precisions skis but use Bergstrom and shims with ski savers. I have never used two runners just the triple points.

And make sure your skis are in alignment. Misaligned skis will cause darting, too.

yes have shimmed the precision skis and wow it does work, my wife hated the rev until we shimmed the skis. Used 1/4" plastic about3/4" square and screwed them to the bottom side of the rear of the rubber. Sled tracks fine now

Bergstrom will ship shims to you if you E-mail or call him N/C. He has all the answers on darting. The shims alone fixed my darting and I was all over the trail.

Precision Skis never darted on my ZX but did wear carbides quickly. Precision Skis good in hardback but about the worst ski for powder just would not turn & you needed to be careful steering in tight conditions or get pitched in the bush. Better skis out there now.
