Polaris Seat

This should be easy, but rather than figure it out I thought you guys could help. Want to replace the seat cushion/cover on a 1998 Polaris 600 XLT. Can I replace just the seat, or do I have to replace the tank too? How do I take it apart? Where is the best place to buy replacement?

You can just replace the cover. Its not that hard just remove the 2 screws in the back under the tunnel and remove the cable at the front. Disconnect the wire harness under the seat and remove. The cover is just stapled on you can find replacement covers on ebay or check with your local dealer. I bought one from dealer for $125.00
