Michigamme Mobile open this season?

I was just wondering if the Mobile station in Michigamme is going to be open this season? We planned on getting fuel and a bite to eat there last year on a saddle bag trip only to find out they closed around Christmas. We eventually ran out of gas on the way to the next gas station. We met another group that was on their way to Baraga that was also out of fuel. With changing weather conditions that happen in the area, this could become a trail saftey issue.

The Michigamme Convenience Store re-opened this spring & is currently open, just went by there a couple of day's ago. I am not 100% sure what happened, but I think the original owner is back at the helm after a failed attempt on a land contract sale.-Mezz

That's good to hear, I always liked stopping there for gas and a bite to eat and people there were always nice to visit with. Thanks for the info!!

I drove by it today. It's open and so is the old Pair o Dice Inn hotel in Christmas. I couldn't tell if the gas station was open though.
