Trail between Chassell and Painsdale

Will this trail finally be open and groomed this coming season? I heard reports last year that it was open but not being groomed. During a ride last season we couldn't find the trail and ending up riding along the shoreline to Houghton on thin ice, which was not fun at all.

I have heard nothing on the issue. It will probably be open but not groomed if they haven't cleared brush or added signs as of yet I doubt you will see any grooming this year on it.

HI -- any more news on the chassell/painsdale trail being opened and groomed and MARKED,not riding on bare roads,that are not marked.Hoping to hear some good news,after all the problems in that area. Such a nice area to ride seems a shame not to have it approved.
