i would say leaves in the keweenaw right now are at about 5 percent

these are just the early ones. WI and MI were so dry this year I suspect the colors will be quick and dirty. I saw some changing in SE WI in early August.

Hopefully winter is wetter than this summer has been round these parts.

many lakes are down 3' from peaks 4 years ago. 8" since July...

here in the western up/keweenaw it has actually not been that dry just cool in may june july but rain wise i think we are fine the last 2 weekends in august we got about 4 inches of rain june the only month that was dry really was july and it was to bad becuase we had cool temps

it seems like the colors are going to be a little later then last year. things are at about 5 percent changed right now

colors are at maybe 10 percent at best here in the keweenaw i would say peak will hit in about 3.5 weeks
