Keweenaw Colors Starting to Pop

There is still alot of tree's to change yet, but, with the winds we have been having, it won't be long & many will be gone.-Mezz

yeah i would say the leave in keweenaw on average are around 60-80 percent changed we are less then a week from peak probaby around 3-5 days away from peak.

I haven't been north yet, but I would say that is probably a close percentage right now. With the impending weather calling for a low of 24° tonight & rain, snow & wind for the next few day's it won't be long before the leaves drop off by the bushels. Enjoy the color now, even on a overcast or cloudy day, they still brighten the day.-Mezz

today is probably going to be one of the best days to view the colors with the sun out. the next 3-4 days looks like clouds. but we are very near the peak of colors.
