Durango Colorado?

Anyone know where the closest riding would be? Got a buddy living out there, wondering if it be worth the drive. Heard of Wolf creek but its about an hour away. Wondering if theres anything closer to Durango?

Silverton is only about an hour up the road from Durango. I would think sledding up there would be awesome, mostly above treeline in that area. Then I don't think it's maybe 3-4 hrs up to Grand Mesa which is supposed to be great riding.

snoluver, there is a pass on the way to Silverton that is perfect for riding. I think its either Red or Redstone Pass. The elevation is high and there is a lot of flat areas and bowls to carve in.

Thanks. I will check into these areas. Been out west several times, but never to CO. It would be fun to explore some new ridding areas.
