Things to see near Rockland

My wife and I are taking are first trip to the UP, We are staying at Peppermill Lodging. I was wondering if there are any trails or sites we shouldn't miss. Thanks

Lake of the Clouds overlook, Houghton Bridge, A reuben at Henry's in rockland, a Pastie at Krupps in twin lakes, rockland lookout (if you can find it). I would make a run up to Lake of the Clouds, and Lake Goegebic one day, and a loop up to houghton and back another day.

My husband and I will probablly be able to ride with you and show you some sites. He knows the area well and can show you some things. Looking forward to seeing you.

Be sure to take the trail #13 loop from Greenland to Twin Lakes! You'll love it!

We stayed at Peppermill and Daryl from Peppermill gave us a local tour that was great. Don't pass that up. Got to see the Victoria Dam, some cool overlooks, Abandoned mines, etc.. Also you can't miss the Smorgasbord at Henries.
