InterTran (http://www.tranexp.com:2000/Translate/result.shtml) translation (leaves something to be desired, eh?): "does the stop at 500 of the funk toaster". Huh? http://www.johndee.com/discuss/clipart/happy.gif

From John's rules (http://www.johndee.com/gendiscuss.htm) (Click on the Discussion Board link in the left margin on the www.johndee.com (http://www.johndee.com) main page.),
quoted in part [emphasis is mine}:

<!-quote-!>quote:
Please do not post other forecasts.
I realize this is a site that has a lot to do about the weather, but my concern is that a forecast created by someone else will be posted on this site. Then another person(s) will read that forecast and think that because it is on this site, it is my forecast. I have a hard enough time trying to produce an accurate forecast and do not want to have to try and live down someone else's incorrect forecast! So you can post a link to that forecast, but please refrain from giving your own forecast or posting someone else's.<!-/quote-!>

Now I realize that weather very dynamic, and any forecast is subject to chance in mere minutes, thus representing a challenge in trying to capture the instantaneous content of any forecast. Clearly if you post only a link, then the forecast material at that link may well change just moments after you post the link, rendering the whole exercise rather pointless.
Never fear, there is a solution:
Do post a link, if only to clearly identify the source, then add the substance of the forecast as a quotation, thereby capturing the material of immediate interest. (Much as I have done in this post, with a link to John's rules, and a partial quotation.)

who is posting forcasts in this thread?

5.7" of snow in International Falls, MN. I suppose someone is putzing around on their sled up there, right?
