We had a County meeting tonight for Mchenry County IIllinois. We will not be able to open trails until all the corn in the fields that we use are picked. That means even if we have a foot of snow on the ground. The farmers this year are having a tough time. We have to respect their fields. I know it's gonna be tough for awhile around here. The other problem is some of the fields will get plowed up also. If we don't get out to chisel plow,it will be some rough sledding this year. If you're from this area watch the local papers for updates. Also call the county Hotline. I will put the number up tomorrow. Remember, without the landowners we don't have trails.
