Looking to take a large group (around 10) to one of three areas.

Houghton, Eastern UP somewhere, Gaylord area.

Looking for cottage rental for a group that size that has plenty of places to sleep, lots of space for parking, and woman friendly.

Any thoughts?

Matt is the best guy I've met in the U.P. You will not regret staying at his place "The Bluff" in Rockland. There's plenty to do in the area, awesome sledding, and as I stated before Matt is the real deal! Go to thebluff.biz to reach him!

X2 on The Bluff.

If you wanted to stay on Lake Gogebic, check out the houses that Lisa Borseth has for rent. You would have one place big enough for your group and private. Hop onto the lake for places to eat and the bars. Her web site is http://www.lisaborseth.com/

I have to throw in a vote for the wildlife refuge cabins. Loved it there last year

I would have to stay in Rockland at Peppermill Rentals. Your rental will come with access to Darrell's heated and tooled shop at no extra cost. He has 6 places to accomidate 1 to 12. All the houses comes will all beding and towels. No need to bring anything. They are located right off the trail in Rockland.
