When you are done riding stop in at the Brewery and have an Oatmeal Stout. It's a meal in itself!

Try the Ambassador in Houghton on the Portage at the Bridge. They have Taco Pizza that is great.

Another vote for The Ambassador, especially if you like pizza. Not only do they have good za, but they have some unique specialty pizzas that are excellent. The BLT, Garlic Chicken, & Lobster Pizza are my faves.

Can't go wrong with either one The Library or the Ambassador, good food and drinks at both :-)

The Ambassador use to be a regular stop for our group when we were in Houghton, but let me relay what happened to us last year.

As we are sitting at the bar enjoying our drinks and food, we watch the bartender load up a bowl of nacho cheese dip from the machine for a waitress . She takes the bowl, leaves, and comes back in a few minutes. She tells the bartender the customers no longer wanted it. For those of you familiar with food service, you know NOT what to do with the now unwanted cheese, but this bartender did not, he poured it right back into the machine for furture use.

So later, when we finish, we ask for our bill. The same bartender, gives us our handwitten receipt. Now I'm sure some groups of guys would just look at the total, and not check over the list, but we did. The receipt had several items crossed off, then added on, etc, etc, ultimetly resulting in us being charged $15 more than what we should have been (somewhere around an $80-$100 bill).

I got the bartender's attention, and before I could even finish the "I think there's an error..", he says "oh, did I make a mistake". His reaction was clear he knew he had overcharged us and was trying to pass it off as a common mistake. It was obvious he had done this before, as all he had to do was pocket the extra $ and just ring up the true total.

This is nothing against the Ambassador as a whole, and likely isolated to this particular employee, but unfortunetly we will not return due to the experience, despite how good there pizza really is.

Id suggest skipping dinner, and attempting to drink a Pint of each bear that is on tap and the Keewenaw Brewing Company.

Definitely my favorite spot is Quincy's. Owner is great as well. Been stopping there for the last 10 years.

Joeys seafood is good too. Right down the street from the brewing company.
