Do I need to title my ATV

I live in Illinois and was wondering if I need to title my ATV or just register with the DNR?

What does everyone think?

I live in Illinois but because I ride mostly in Michigan, I have a Michigan trail permit and proof of insurance and that's all. State of Illinois does not require the license as with a snowmobile. A trail permit is required on some public trails. I've ridden at the private places like the Cliffs down by the Illinois river and no trail permits are needed-just the daily fee.
