04 800 HO Oil Consumption

Put on 332 miles on and used a gallon of oil. I did check fuel milage once over the trip average around 13mpg. We we're on a saddle bag trip not riding too hard. Not fouling plugs, Not smoking, seems like a lot of oil. My buddy had his 700 Polaris Classic with 8K on it and used less than 2qts of oil.

How much oil are you guys using?

You should have used about 3 Qts, if you hold the Throttle wide open alot you will use more.

I just filled my Etek last night and I used 1 Qt in 320 Miles but that is riding with my Wife and Daughter. If I ride with the Boys I would have used double.

Turn your Pump down 1 turn and check it again.

Doo 800's on average should use about 1 qt per 100 miles
