I would leave them home. Here in Grafton WI we are down to nothing.

i was riding last satuday and 50% of the corners were mud/dirt. after two days of solid sun and 35 degrees i don't think the corners or open fields will hold up. i was planning on riding this saturday but with the weather i think i'm going to cancel.

Right now Waukesha will be open through the weekend primarily due to the fact that the Drumlin and Forest are holding up well.

Please be sure to double check the hotline before heading out 262-299-0330

Just in case you were to ride that way, Jefferson County has closed. I also see several trails through NW Waukesha and SE Dodge County on my way to/from work. The trail in the field that starts right around the Kwik Trip on Hwy P & Z looked really nice, but I doubt it sees a lot of traffic. The trail through Mapleton looked really nice and was actaully groomed no too long ago. There is about 100 yards of road to run on the west side of P. The trail that crosses into Dodge Cty on Hwy P looked nice heading west. The big hill had some burned bare spots at the bottom on the north end of the hill. That same trail approaching the road on both sides had some bare spots due to the throttle-hammering people after crossing the road. This same trail branches off south of Hartford and one portion crosses Hwy 60 about 1-2 miles east of Hwy P. That is getting thin too. Of course, this is just from what I can see from the roads.

Waukesha county resident here, but I don't ride here. Looks like there isn't much of a base left in general. But, keep your eyes on the forecast this weekend, may get a bit of fresh.
