has anyone canoed the kickapoo river?looking to go in october.

Being from the Kickapoo valley, I have in fact canoed the Kickapoo. We have normally started up near Ontario, WI. It's a beautiful area up there, and great canoeing. Normally I would caution that October could be pretty low water levels, which can lead to some spots that the canoe would hit bottom. But this year I don't think that will be an issue. Let me know if you have any specific questions let me know and I will try to get an answer.

We went a few years back. It was a blast.

We stayed in a cabin at this resort. They rented canoes and kayaks. Was a great place.
