Can't go wrong with either place. If you can set your dates now but pick your destination when you see who has the most snow. If your worried about costs Snowies is probably a less expensive trip.

Last season I would have said TOG. But, after a couple trips to the west side(less traveled) of the Snowy's, the area has grown on me. Each has its perks, what type of riding are you interested in?

Moms will be taking the custom slim-o, hauling sleds and people to both locations in December, January March and April.

Looking for a ride?
Transport, Lodging and Meals for only $750
(five nights of lodging and 6 days to ride mountain pow)

Tog is short for Togwotee Mtn Lodge, near Jackson Hole Wyoming, and The Snowies, is a Mountain Range near Laramie Wyoming.

We stay on the West side of the Snowy Range, Near Saratoga, Ten Mile Inn, Close to the Good Stuff, and Gas across the Street, and trail at the end of the Driveway, Only Complaint, it is an extra 1.5 hour drive from Laramie.

What is it like over there? How far to the "good stuff"? I always heard the western side gets more and am curious. What elevation is the Inn at?

Cuzz, if Kev says it is true than it is true. Kevin has never steared me wrong. I am going to. Cooke City to ride with him 5 days after I return from the snowies with you. I will fill you in on the April fools ride to 10 mile.

Good stuff is about 5 miles at best, all groomed trail. Ten Mile Inn is at 8100 feet, takes about 5 min ride and your pushing 9500 feet.

Just my .02$. It is like the old model from science class. The mountains knock precipitation out of the clouds. Most of the storms come West to East. The west side of the Snowies thus gets the full impact of most storms. Plus, all the traffic and sledders from the east go to the east side, leaving the west side less traveled and less tracked. The extra drive is worth it. Wait, I don't drive. Let Rev Kev and MomsMotorSports do the driving lol.....

No f...ing bunny slippers! Seriously. We can talk names in Milwaukee if we "need" one. We should check out the westside of the Snowies in the spring.

Can I be the treasurer?

Treasurer sucks we used to elect one for each trip and he was resposible for collecting the gas and hotel money. There is always 1 or 2 guys that didn't go to the bank so they have to hit the atm at the first Flying J and then find out they have a $400 limit on the debit card so we have to cover them till the return home when they hit the atm again. We gave that up now we just collect gas money up front and you pay for your own hotel bill!

I run a tight ship. No money then no ride. Lie to me and you will need to fill out an app. At the Flying J or find a trucker who thinks your cute. If money is tight apply for another credit card or stay home. Treasurer not mama is my title.

If you have not decided yet on where to go. Check out Beaver Creek Lodge in Logan Canyon, Utah. The terrain is amazing!!! It's less crowds then Tog and other places. The parking lots could be full in Logan Canyon but, you can get out and not run into people. Lots of open areas! The off trail riding is quite the experience!! They have a web site www.beavercreeklodge.com
