UP Off Trail Riding

I am looking to get a group of guys together this winter for a guided off trail ride in the UP. Any recommendations on where to go, where to stay, what time of the winter would be best and a great guide who can get us to some fresh deep untouched snow??? Any advise would be appreciated.

POLARISRIDER1 - That is why I asked the question. I spend quite a bit of time at my wifes parents cabin on the north shore of MN. We ride a lot on federal land and we have a blast. Just want to try something different. If i did not care, i woiuld not be asking. That is why we want a guide. If i can not find a guide, i will just get stuck on the north shore instead of in Michigan

Offtrail riding is old news! Trail riding is where its at....

X2.... Lenny is your best bet for an off trail guide. Give him a PM & he will help you out for a small fee. Otherwise you are on your own with a hand full of maps. With the right group it is possible to go it alone but be prepared for an adventure.

Head west! If you want to off trail ride, Mountain riding is the best.
