Mackinaw Island / Eastern UP Trip - Looking for Guidance

I am looking to setup a trip to the Eastern U.P. and would like to stay in St. Ignace and be close to the snowmobile trail. A few people may need to rent snowmobiles so we are hoping there is a rental place near the hotel. We have been to the Western and Central U.P. but the Eastern U.P. is something new. Any guidance and information would be much appreciated. Does anyone know if the Casino is snowmobile friendly and close to the trails (www.kewadinstignace.com)?

St .Ignace, the best and only place to stay is Driftwood. There sports bar is awesome. All you can eat crab legs on fri. Breakfast is great. Right on the trail. Rooms are small but clean. Did I mention the two double beds is $39 bucks a night?? Best in st Ignace. If you ride from Iggy to Paradise Mi. The best Western is brand new and really nice. From paradise to Munising. Americinn is New, Nice and has indoor water slides. The Ride to Manistique where the Grey wolf lodge the Great. Then back to Driftwood in St. Ignace. Awesome 4 Day backpack. Hope this Helps

x2 for the Driftwood in Iggy! Again rooms on the small side but clean and can't beat price besides being right on trail. Not sure on rental place.
