View Full Version : Trail 109 Twin to Sid conditions?
Just wondering how 109 is this weekend. Heading UP in the A.M. and always like to hit this trail if conditions are decent. Thanks in advance for any reports.

The only good part of 109 is the first 14 or so miles that Twin Lakes grooms. I'm not sure if Baraga has groomed their section of 109 yet this year, if they have its been awhile. As of Monday my opinion is to ride in the snowbelt only or be prepared to buy hyfax and carbides.

What do you consider to be the snow belt?

Rode 109 from the 8/15 to 12 last weekend. It was ridable but not alot of lube. They have gotten snow since then and I'm sure conditions are better. Here is the latest from the Baraga club.
