I have been looking casually at capped 12' trailers. We always ride from our camp but I would like to have a trailer to go a little further and spend less time trail riding to get to riding spots. Triton seem like the lowest ones just by looking at pictures. I want to be able to put the trailer in the garage at our camp and the opening is 83". From the Triton website the cap has 54" of room and i'd guess the height of the trailer is no more than 24" so in theory it would fit. Can anyone give me measurements of a Triton (or any other brand for that matter that would fit a 83" high opening)? The width is about 105" so I even though it's tight width should work ok. Need a 12' trailer because I own/ride mountain sleds. Thanks.

Perfect thanks so now I know triton does work (as it seemed it should). Are any others that low? R&R and Chilton appear like they are too high?

I have a chilton, drive thru, side by side covered trailer. I measured it and it is 78.5" tall and my garage is 83". However when I pull it out it seems closer than that. Either way it fits in my garage.

ScottD -
I'm in the same boat as you. I ride from my camp in the UP and leave the sleds and trailer in the garage up there. My 12' Triton with Top Cap (it's an early 2000's model) fits easily in the garage and it's a standard garage door opening. Like you, two of my sleds are long tracks (144" and 153") and thus needed the 12 footer. I can't measure it as I'm not at my camp at the moment but I think you'll be okay.

My Floe Protektor is 81" high. When you open the gull wing doors they are 102" at the top.
