I'm sure the forest service and owner find it really humorous. And we wonder why we are constantly fighting to keep our access. Thanks! One more reason to lock us out. Glad you got the shot.

Ya like you could really put up any kind of arguement that this would hurt the lodge. Ive been there plenty of times now to see this way the owner doesnt take care of this building and the snow that is sitting on it. It being riden over wasnt doing any damage. Stop by in May and June when the snow is melting and the water is running out of the place cause the snow is melting right thru the walls. Ya thats why we are fighting to keep the land open cause of people like ME. Ya its the out of towners that dont care. How about up keeping the place.

I think you are missing the point. Common sense goes along way! Think about it as if it was your building.

Buddy, do you know or understand the owner's financial circumstances to make a statement like this? Probably not. You don't own it. Stay off it. Seems pretty simple.

I can't believe there is any argument as to the question of "right or wrong." WRONG

Its not even the question of right or wrong to vandalize another's property. The answer to that is obvious!! We all know the sled probably did no damage to the structure. The problem is the hundreds of anti snowmobile environmentalist types that are going to see that track going over the top of the lodge. It will be viewed as absolutely reckless. The evidence will be there for months to come, even after fresh snows cover the track, as the snow melts off, the track will be re-exposed! This is the EXACT reason we get shut out. I mean seriously, could you have possibly picked a worse place on the planet to do this???
Whatever, we're all just wasting our breath. If this guy can't realize the true damage this kind of chit causes, we'll never change his way of thinking.
