We are heading up to Mercer this weekend and plan on riding up to Hurley. We have never ridden in this area before so any suggestions on trails and places to stay would be greatly appreciated.

Pretty decent, for the most part they are like riding on a railroad grade so very smooth and of course dusty. Trail 8 was marked as difficult on the map and was the most fun, thats where the mud was. It looked like they had recently done some grading work on that trail so my guess is it used to be more muddy at one time.

Good times, looks like everyone had some fun on 8.

Trail 8 was fun. And a good attraction to have being it was differant than most other atv trails, but it is filled in now with culverts and all! Was one of the wettest trails and now one of the driest! A lot of dissapointed people during last weekends pumpkin run. Anyone hear why they did this?

They are improving the trail system for the side by sides making them wider and drier. It used to be a blast to atv up here, now you can use your car to atv!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The holes on 8 have progressively gotten deeper and much wider from people trying to go around them. I can only assume that someone was twisting thier wrist telling them they were harming the environment and needed to be filled in - not to mention all the red ATV's going home on trailers....
