Lost Snowmobile Trailer Title

I have a 1997 Two place snowmobile trailer that I cannot find the title for. Has anyone had to get a replacement title before? If so, is it a pain in the a**? I live in Illinois.

You shouldn't have an issue getting a replacement title if in fact it was in your name. If not, you might need to try for a homemade trailer title.

Great question, I have a Triton that came out of White Star auctions from a state that didn't title trailers and the guy I bought it from lost the bill of sale. How can I get this one registered here in Illinois ?

If it was titled in Illnoise already its $95 for lost title... Otherwise good luck...
