wtb 15 to 25 horse outboard motor

looking to by a 15 to 25 horse outboard motor. it dont need to be new but not looking for something that is way outdated

Long or short shaft? Electric or rope start? Tiller or remote control?

New motors aren't cheap, but I can help you with a Evinrude if you want a 2012.

sorry im not looking to spend that much money. rope start, either short or long shaft, tiller. 2 stroke an older evinrude or merc or johnson is what im looking for.

I have a 1984 Johnson short shaft. Has one new std piston & ring set & one cyl has new rings only.

Motor was overheated & we rebuilt the powerhead. New water pump, lower unit is good, had no water contamination. Unit is all cleaned up & paint touched up.

$500 with new prop, tank & fuel line extra.

I have a 1976 Johnson 25 HP longshaft with electric start, tiller steer, runs good. includes tank & gas line. can be hooked up to steering wheel & controls. would like to get $500. NE Lower MI Thanks, Ron
