We are at a camp ground just out side of Munising on the lake The wind is blowing constant at 30 and gusting to over 50
sure glad I am not in a tent

Exactly where are you, at the City Park or down at Bay Furnace? Both places get lots of wind, especially the city park.

Was just out to the lake east of Marquette and it was wild. Felt like rock salt hittin the face. Waves were up to the dune grass which is a long way from the normal water line.

There were some crazies out in Marquette on boards with dry suits on. I'll stick to land. Almost had to hold onto a tree to stand.

Awesome pictures, wish I were there to see the lake rolling. Would have loved to been on Presque Isle and watch the waves going over the pier.

Dave, you need to step up and fix that camera...buddy! There are too many blurry spots in the picture...takes away from the moment!

Those guys with the dry suit were "living the moment" even if they were dropped on their heads as a baby!

Was hard to take a still picture when I was having a hard time standing. Got a video from my blackberry that sums it up a little better.
