With the additional 7" in the past 24 hours that John reports above, that makes a total of 281.5" for the season, making 2008-2009 the 5th greatest snowfall in the last 59 years.

Just got back from the "higher terrain" of Keweenaw County and measured 21.5" of new snow on the ground. Take into consideration any melting and settling of that snow and I'd say they have picked up 24-28" since the snow started up here Sunday around noon.
With the new snow on top of the 12-18" base this area had before the storm hit, I'd say a May ride is looking more and more possible.

Marty-
I took the plow off the ATV and put the snowthrower away last week. But you know what they say, when you are given lemons....
Besides, I am in marketing, not production. http://www.johndee.com/discuss/clipart/happy.gif

Nash, I'll take the snow any day, you can keep that 100 degree crap!
I'll second that! I suffer when it's 80 around here.........but am glad you like it frnash! To each his own.
Anything over 65-70 is to hot. 100 degrees and it does not look like much relief is in site for your area.

Well at least it's headed back to "seasonal normals" (mid to high 80s) later in the week.
The "normal highs" are only 100°F or above from June 1st thru Sept 15th.
(I must be used to it; I don't even begin to notice the heat 'til it gets above 108°F!}
How do we spell relief? N-o-v-e-m-b-e-r! http://www.johndee.com/discuss/clipart/happy.gif
108 no way. My folk are snow birds from Nov to mid April in Gold Canyon, AZ and they say by the end of March it's starting to get to hot for them even.
I guess a person's body does get use to the heat over time.
