Since we all have been passing prayers out for members of the JD family, here is one for the man himself. Praying for your speedy recovery. Don't overdo it, get rid of your cold and enjoy your down time.

Nice Journal Nora. I am sure I speak for everyone out here in cyber space when I say that it is a nice change of pace (excuse me John...not trying to whack you when your down and out...but) hearing from the other half of the family, once in awhile. I wish you would do it more often.
Good to hear that Gracie is gett'n past the hard times, and becoming very much aware of her surroundings. Don't bet on her not thinking at age 2 months...she just can't express herself yet is all and she already knows the "score" with who's around her and what she likes and doesn't like. It will advance almost daily...and often will catch you by surprise when she does something different.
Part of what I say revolves around a different perspective which, of course, women have, but often just a different look at things from someone else in the house hold. Can't wait for Gracie's take on stuff....and you will let her chime in from time to time...right??? Heck if the dogs could talk, they would be jumping in too. That snowmo pic of her sittin on John's lap is a framer!!

John has a new, but very short journal up late this morning.
It seems he was re-admitted to the hospital last Monday due to a setback with the surgery.
Continued best wishes, John, for a successful and rapid recovery! We miss ya!
And three cheers for Nora for hangin' in there and covering the bases on the home front during these rough times!

You just knew that Nora would be working like a one armed paper hanger...with all that going on...and I guess I was right. Not fun I am sure, but looks like daylight has finally come...and John, yah sound better anyways.
Bet the hardest thing was being away from that baby...eh, can be the driving force to get home again...besides there is NO place like home to rest...okay as long as the dogs aren't restless....Stay out of public John...the flu bug is rampant...don't need THAT at the Dee house hold right now....keep mending. And bless you Nora...hope rest comes for you soon.
